haaah... blogging... again... i should be studying for an exam tomorrow, but i guess a little break wouldn't hurt.

Last Tuesday, we decided to go to Alabang and crash at Alan's place. hehehe, that means the three Alabang Boys (Alan, Boyong and Charles... wow, ABC!) were "it" for hosting. We (being Me, Akelle, RF and Chino) left Manila at about 9:30 PM and made our way to ATC to meet up with Charles who would fetch us at McDonald's. We then fetched Boyong (who made one of his SUPER MEATY SPAGHETTI' s, YUM!) at his house and made our way to Alan's.

Albeit tires burning and cramping, we got to Alan's in one piece. What was waiting for us was A LOT OF FOOD (carbonara and chicken). Coupled with the Spag that Boyong brought, we proceeded to feast.

So look, the purpose of this entry is to mark this date, nothing more, so i will not divulge any big details about what happened.

What i WILL say is this: Alan and I found out that we went to the same pre-school and we were probably batchmates, Alabang drivers rock, i miss living in BF, Food is good, Fire is Fun, Wayne's World Rocks, Samurai X will always be cool, and GODDAMN IT, I HAVE THE BEST GROUP OF FRIENDS IN THIS ENTIRE UNIVERSE...

...but i still wish Keith, Melay, Cris, Troy and the rest of the Brickwall People could've made it...

ah, well, there's next week, right? (heheheheh... kina charl;es naman!!!)

three movies

in the past 20 hours i've seen three good movies... i just have to write about them...

Nasaan si Francis? - a stoner movie... hahhaha! need i say more? I watched it with Melay, Cris, Boyong, RF, Keith, Charles and Alan (oh gawd, i hope i didn't miss anyone, my memory's kinda fritzy lately... anyway, the film was set in Bacolod (oh, wow, the more things change right?). Drugs, trips, overall kabangagan factor... must see! must see! i don't want to ruin anything for anyone by writing details, but i can assure you that if you have at least half a life, you will laugh.

ang galing! i recommend the movie to everyone looking for an hour and a half of laughs. really. I have ONE really big complaint, though... RICO BLANCO MUST DIE!

Memoirs of a Geisha - wow. blew me away. well, i wasn't really intent on watching this but i just got intrigued when Trisha told me about how great the girl who played the younger Zhang Zhi Yi was. Oh my! yes! i HAVE to agree! the eyes! man, i love the eyes! (what IS it with my fascination with eyes?). I mean, it's not the color and all, she just has nice, effective (?) eyes

if anything, it's reaffirmed my faith in good old fairytales... of how things can just magically get better...

i know, i know, it's stupid. it's dumb. it's highly illogical, and anyone who knows me would readily scoff at me for thinking silly thoughts.... but hey, it makes me feel good...

the week that was

ohohoho... so ends the week that i didn't go home... heheheheh.... anyway, let's retrospect:

Monday - No classes. but i left home at 4:30 pm, i was goin to go crash at akelle's 'coz i was dead bored at home. It took me 30 minutes before i got ride putangina naman, ba't ba ang tagal ng jeep papuntang cubao?

so anyway, i get to cubao at 6:30 wtf?! so then, i make my way to EDSA, but not before i stop to a washroom 'coz i really needed to go. what the fuck?!?!? ten pesos for a washroom? i realized it was OK, 'coz there were lots of stuff like powder and alcogel and soap and stuff (that i proceeded to waste, by the way), after getting out i find myself outside Gateway and another one of my mishaps happened i lost my sense of direction! i went left, then right then left then right again Aaarghh!!! my feet are killing me!

hmmm... i finally do get to EDSA and ride a Novaliches bus. I get down at munoz and ride a project 8 jeep and i get at akelle's by 7:30... RF decided not to show up... i proceed to plop down on akelle's computer and fix his blog (because i do so love fixing blogs, i hate coding them and stuff but i love fixing background images with PhotoShop and fixing archive tabs).

We downloaded the tracks Boyong uploaded from our gig at the Fenders with Dents thing and bitched around how those damn DLSU assholes took our ten thousand bucks by buying votes, then a bunch of friends show up with weed and they get high (i am currently on my "only once a month" phase, and i intend to stick to it). A few shots of brandy and we're out cold. end monday

Tuesday - We wake up at 4:30 am and get to school early. Too early, actually. I kill the time by sitting at the wall till 11:00 because the other wall people had class. 11:30, Ceska, RF and Charles and Keith show up. Yay. Company. Then Cris shows up and we get to chem class. Now Chem class is the best class i have this sem. Why? Because Cris and I spread our "deadly wave of stupidity" around class and the teacher doesn't even care. Ha Ha (probably 'coz we aced the first exam hahahah!!!).

The SECOND exam is another matter entirely, by the way. Another highlight of the Chem class is that we get to OGLE miss "shwingaroo". What?!? WHO?!? Miss Shwingaroo or, if you prefer, Foxy Lady. THIS time, Cris made this really lame love letter thing to miss Foxy Lady and we had her pass it around class. HA HA HA. the way i explain it doesn't really do justice to the act, but believe me, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO EXPLAIN what with the daily wave of stupidity going on...

The OTHER piece of fun we have at Chem class is making fun of this Korean exchange student named "John". I know, i know, it's racist, but it's FUN!! This time we decided to write a love letter to him and put the name of this girl in class. We didn't know his real name so we just took out this flyer of this Chinese restaurant called "Mister Choi's Kitchen" and copied the characters. HA HA HA HA!!

"Yes!!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

After class, we met up with Akelle, Keith, Chino and RF at the lounge. RF, Akelle and Me then went to eat at Dimsum and Dumplings. (UNLIMITED SIOMAI!!!!)

Akelle, Keith and Charles then leave. that leaves RF and me (chino and boyong went to their speech class). We smoke a little and then catch up with them coz me, Alan and RF were extras in their speech chamber theater.

Not much to say about the chamber theater except that miss B.O. (inside joke), got her hair burned. HA HA HA HA!!

After that we decided to steal the big Fenders with Dents tarp. It took us an hour. In what i rightfully dub "STUPIDplan X", we ended up attaching a zippo to the top of a large pole to burn off the binding ropes in the tarp. We got it.

We went to the blue room for a couple of beers before heading out to akelle's where we met up with keith again. We bought a LOT of softdrinks and some brandy.I don't know how the heck we fit, but we all slept at akelle's room (except for chino who left at around 5AM).

...but not before Keith played a little practical joke on us (i'll post pictures when i get them...). end tuesday

Wednesday - We woke up real late. say 12pm and keith left around that time. But not before we finished "city of God" and a few south park episodes.

pagkatapos namin ihatid si keith, bumalik kami sa kina akelle at natulog ulit.

We woke up at 5pm. (well I woke up at 5PM, to a jennifer love hewitt song). we ate a lot (fishball, isaw, tenga, yellowfin), and called chino to ask him to come again. Chino arrived and so did Akelle's friends again. They brought weed again. RF got stoned. totally. I abstained again (galing ko, no?). We all got worried coz RF started getting pale and fainted. No more weed for you dude (at least not for a while). and oh yeah! Sandara Park finally approved my friend request. yay... end wednesday.

Thursday -we went to school. i attended class and when i got out, melay was at the wall. Tapos may nangyaring kahassle-hassle kaya nagyaya ako na pumunta na lang ng lounge. Before getting there, Melay decided to get one of those Wendy's Coffee Jelly Things. I was about to get one too, but i saw the size, and well... dehins sulit eh... Then from out of nowhere, someone called my name. Garrie!!!! hahaha... i haven't seen her in, uh, five months! wala lang. ang galing nakilala niya pa ako...

When we got to the lounge, Melay started rambling and ranting nonsense. HA HA. Apparently, she hasn't slept yet. Ang kulet!!! Then Alan came and we started talking about this paper Melay was writing about Shibby. It was funny! astig!

Fast forward to a few things. I was supposed to meet Pia at 3PM, so Akelle and me went to KFC where i ate two chicken steaks. Pia. Ha ha ha. She's funny when she gets all emo about missing us. But who's to say that any one of us isn't emo?

We go to the lounge where RF is thinking about what the heck to eat. After a few sticks, he spots this 88 PhP Pasta Buffet. We rush to it and find out it's only till 5PM. It's 4:45, but we figure what the heck and we (yes, me included) proceed to blow our bellies.

Eat-all-you-can pasta is good. Eat-all-you can-pasta AFTER eating two chicken steaks ISN'T.

Fast forward again. After RF and me accompany Melay to the LRT station, I decided to crash at RF's tonight. (at least until akelle's class was over). After an hour and a half, we get to get down the FX and walk towards RF's. The minute we get down, RF realizes he left his wallet in the FX.

so what did we do?

we CHASED the FX, of course! (emphasis on "CHASED"). all the way to Novaliches Bayan. We lost it though. LUCKILY, the driver of the FX was a woman and apparently there was only one woman driver in the Novaliches route. So we had the driver radioed and we got the wallet back!

to celebrate, RF decided to drink (what else?) so we got a couple of beers and drank the night away. Akelle followed of course. end thursday.

Friday - woke up late but managed to get to the cinematics class. We even got to listen to the GMA speech on the way to school on the FX.

Campus Elections. BAH! HUMBUG! After the past three years' involvement i had in campus politics, i guess i'm in a pretty good position to say that STUDENT POLITICS IS SHIT. Especially in UP, which is particularly saddening.SO can anybody say: "i just don't give a rat's ass?".

We left school, went to chino's then left again to watch akelle's desecrator gig.

They rocked, of course. Akelle was forced to use a different guitar, though, coz a string broke. and it was particularly ironic that Akelle got swallowed by the sound of the very same guitar that he used to own (yep, the mockingbird plus the almighty x2n).

We walked from the bar to Akelle's (but not before grabbing a midnight snack at KFC, chicken steak,of course). slept. end friday.

Saturday - nag-ikot sa ESEM... umuwi. nag blog. end saturday. end week.

wow that's a lot. till the next week!

anyway, enough of that... hahaha... i'm in a rather chipper mood so well... that's that.

it is thursday... i have not been home (taytay) since monday, the past few days i have been bumming at akelle's place... and tonight i might stay at RF's...

what exactly am i doing..?

it's finally sinking in. i'm leaving.

leaving UP.

leaving Manila.

leaving MY FRIENDS in Manila, most importantly.

i love living this way, but i just have to face the sad truth that

i fucked up.... totally.

well, not totally, my friends are a testament of that.

but in all aspects concerning future potential in preparing for my future...

hahahaha!!!

anyway, to put this entry to rest, i end with this line i made that i intend to live by:
